JULY 2021
Closing One Chapter. Opening The Next.
On July 1, 2021, Friends of Balboa Park will officially merge with the Balboa Park Conservancy, bringing our strengths under one umbrella to become an even more robust champion for the park.
During my time with Friends, I have been awed by many supporters who made our success possible. Our Board of Directors joins me in thanking every person who believed in the mission, reputation and dedicated team of Friends of Balboa Park. You made a truly meaningful difference.
Our work now continues. Watch as we grow, and please never stop being a “friend” of Balboa Park.

Help Us Reach Our $100K Goal!
As we merge into one entity and combine our giving groups, your sustained support helps us become stronger. This pivotal change brings clarity, efficiency, and impact, using our combined resources and expertise to support the diverse needs of Balboa Park. We look forward to providing you with more exciting updates on our new organization, through the summer.

Through the generosity of a small group of donors, the $100,000 challenge grant has inspired giving from more than 140 donors. Special thanks to David & Lesley Cohn and the Cohn Family of Restaurants for providing a generous lead gift in response to our request.
